With my freeze ray I would stop...

Girly stuff )

D should be back in the first week of April, and then we leave the first week of May. I can't believe it! We are actually doing this thing. We are getting out of the military and moving back home! Yay! I've taken Texas for granted in the past but no more. I think that big-ole state is where my heart truly lies.

I've not taken any dolly pics in a while. I did take aa trip to Tokyo though, Pics Here.

I bought my first Momoko (mostly to enable Nikki to get one too hehehe...it worked.) I brought home Groovy Baby. And she got Lazy Seventeen. I also bought Mel a Friendly Freckles Blythe (she has been eying Blythes and was talking about getting one some day).

Mwahahaha!!! My plot to spread the dolly love is working!

I also snagged an Aubrey for a custom I am working on, mohair oh yeah.

Dr.Horrible is my obsession of the month. I know I am late, shut up!

Other than that, I'm preparing to start my preparations for moving. Yeah, procrastinator. I've not done much.....

Lazy Journaleer Updates Journal

I has a Kenner.

And I has snow too apparently.

More on my flickr.
I named her Elsie, based on this:

`Suppose we change the subject,' the March Hare interrupted, yawning. `I'm getting tired of this. I vote the young lady tells us a story.'

`I'm afraid I don't know one,' said Alice, rather alarmed at the proposal.

`Then the Dormouse shall!' they both cried. `Wake up, Dormouse!' And they pinched it on both sides at once.

The Dormouse slowly opened his eyes. `I wasn't asleep,' he said in a hoarse, feeble voice: `I heard every word you fellows were saying.'

`Tell us a story!' said the March Hare.

`Yes, please do!' pleaded Alice.

`And be quick about it,' added the Hatter, `or you'll be asleep again before it's done.'

`Once upon a time there were three little sisters,' the Dormouse began in a great hurry; `and their names were Elsie, Lacie, and Tillie; and they lived at the bottom of a well--'

`What did they live on?' said Alice, who always took a great interest in questions of eating and drinking.

`They lived on treacle,' said the Dormouse, after thinking a minute or two.

`They couldn't have done that, you know,' Alice gently remarked; `they'd have been ill.'

`So they were,' said the Dormouse; `VERY ill.'

From Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Chapter VII - The Mad Tea Party.

I've been rather busy being a mom, and a wife, which is why I haven't done much updating on flickr or here. I have spurts of energy sometimes, and then there are times I want to do nothing.  I am really tired of snow. Some people love it. I don't feel like getting me and the kids all bundled up to go get wet and cold then coming in to deal with wet clothes. More laundry, you know! Gah, I am so behind on laundry.

I want to learn how to quilt, so I can make a quilt and break all the pattern rules. None of this making a trillion little squares or rectangles thing. I want to make it a pattern and yet not a pattern.

Tree pics

My sis reminded me to take pics of my tree so I did. My theme in past years has been "non-breakable things". This year it became "non-breakable things and cute creatures".

Me so selfish...screw it

I need a Kenner. NEEEEEED!

I've sold (or am selling) all but 3 of my Neo Blythes to get a Kenner. I have been obsessing for the past few weeks and it is not going away. *SOB*Yes, I know I should be Christmas shopping. Shut up.

Shopping Progress:
Kids - Done
Hubby - Done
Grandparents - In progress
Me - ??? (who shops for me? Hubs? Psh!)
So there.

I like my new avatar, it's a screencap from a Japanese commercial with Arnold the Governator, before he was the Governator I am assuming.

Dark Knight came out on DVD today. Woot.

You know those whiny hormone ridden posts?

This is one of those.

You've been warned.

I'm seriously at my whits end. Nothing is right right now, but yet I don't know what the heck my problem is. My husband loves me, my children are wonderful. It is me. Everything is driving me insane. I randomly go off on my kids. I don't ever want sex...like ever, which is bad for my DH cus he does. I'm all confused and stressed out about various things. DH is never home because of his crap work schedule. I see him for a few hours in the morning and like 10 minutes after the kids go to bed, and that's it. During the day he sleeps and then at night he goes to work.

Damn it, now I'm crying.

I hate this.

I love my husband, but I never get to see him. His job wont give him time off. My house is a friggin disaster, and I don't care. Yes I do, but not enough. i9 have to keep being a mom and keep it together. CRAP. How come everyone else has it together.

Back and so out of it

Texas was nice. It was so warm! I had forgotten what it was like to be somewhere where the weather is nice 90% of the time. SUN! I loved the sun. We don't get much sun here it seems. And even now, today, when it is sunny in Misawa, it is friggin COLD! I don't feel like getting bundled up to go outside. Blech. I miss Texas already. My family is all insane. I still love them.
I'm very jet-lagged. It seems to have been harder getting back O_O
I got two new dollies. A HoM Blythe and a Moona.

Plus here is a pic of one of the outfits I got for my Narae.

I love dollies. I should probably be cleaning. But I am so not feeling it.

Going on a trip

I'll be heading out tonight on the bus down to Yokota. From there I am taking military flights, not sure where or when they will be going. That's the beauty of Space-A. It's free but its an adventure XD. I'll pretty much be gone all month. And I am kind of sad that while I am gone I'll be recieving a Large Moona from a trade I did and also some lovely outfits I ordered from Airee before she closed up her shop forever :(.

See ya in about a month!

Crazy neighbor - and happy day

I'm, so ready to leave here. Japan is cool, tiny base in a tiny town in rural Japan in the middle of nowhere....not so much. Especially since the base is so poorly run. My husband's shop is very undermanned. He works the crappiest hours. 12 hours a night.

Also my neighbor is insane. I know that over a year ago she called the cops on me because my dog had gotten out. Mind you my husband was deployed at the time, so she could have HELPED maybe instead of calling the cops on me? We no longer have the dog, I don't deal well with drama. Oh it gets better. I am pretty sure it was her who called Family Advocacy on me too, they are the ones you call when there is suspected abuse going on  -_-. The anonymous caller said that my kids were "chronically neglected", that they were seen out in the street several times, and that it had been going on for a year and a half (she was my only neighbor at the time..which is why I think it was her). This was proven to be total BS, since it was all lies. I'm not vindictive, or confrontational. I have pretty much ignored her since.

And you know I tried to just live and let live, and put it all behind me. I try to be a nice neighbor and help out where I can and greet people and be friendly, even if inside I think they are jerks.

So recently our lawn mower broke. No telling why. It broke while my husband has almost done with the front yard, so we had a funny little rectangle of overgrown grass left, and all of it in the back unmowed. This is a big deal here, military housing has standards. I asked the neighbor's husband if he would mind finishing the front, and he was all weird about it. Then now a week or two later, lawn needs mowing again. Hubby goes to try to fix the mower, but its beyond his realm of knowledge. So I go reluctantly ask my lovely neighbor if we can borrow their mower. Here's the conversation.

Me:  "Hi, can we borrow your lawn mower, ours is still broken?"
Her: "Uh, you're not gonna break it are you?"
Me : "Umm, why would we break it?"
Her: "Well, you broke yours."
Me: (in disbelief) "Well, that was...oh you know what, just forget it" (walks away)

ARG.

Because of all this crap, I am going home for a month. Home as in Texas. which has its own set of drama, but I feel I need to be there for a bit. At least to get away from here and be able to do some decent in store shopping.

NOW THE HAPPY PART
But the good news is a boy from our church will do our lawn for like $5. So to heck with borrowing from THEM.
And more good news. Today is my hubby's birthday.  We are now both a quarter of a century, plus one year old. :)
We're gong on a date later, not sure where. But thank the Lord that hubby has been going through a class this past week, so his hours have been really nice for these few days. Next week he goes back to hell- er-- regular work.

Pullip Sale - New dolls added

Sadly, I've fallen out of love with Pullips, so I will be clearing out my collection. Soon I'll be posting more dolls, and a bunch of Barbie clothes.

The fine print:  Update about shipping below. I am now open to offers and possibly trades.
Please note that I am on an American military base, but I am stationed in Japan, so while shipping to the US is "cheap" it will take about a week for your purchase to get to you. :)

Payments: I only take paypal. ^_^ i will ship as soon as payment clears.

All dolls are in like new condition, except where noted.

Cinnamoroll Dal (SOLD - Shipped)
$100
I took her out, redressed her, and put her back soon after. She will come with everything except her tiny plushie.

Timulus  - Keeping

Custom Craziia - Shipping to US is free. International $15
I've redone her lips, added blush and given her Blythe eye chips. When I put her back together only one of her eyes would close. Also she is on an Obitsu SBH-S because her stock body was badly stained. Whichever wig you choose, it will not be glued on.

With stock wig $90

With Monique (auburn) wig $110

Outfit shown not included (but I will include a random barbie outfit)

Update - during packaging I got a shaprie stain on her torso. It is not very visible here is a picture:

--I am bored enough to explain some of these lol
I've been in true love once, with my husband. all the previous relationships were infatuation. I am currently raising kids, so they are not "raised". My job now, is "mom" and yes, I love it. :) Oh and duh, I live in Japan. I've picked up and moved several times but not by choice. The military tells us to.  I didn't actually build my computer myself, I bought the parts and my friend built my PC for me.

Maybe I'm a dreamer

Ah if I had the time and talent...and money. I would want to make a doll inspired by Judy Garland, and Audrey Hepburn. Maybe just one inspired by that whole era.

And then there are my Pride and Prejudice fantasies.

And yes, I am well aware that Colin Firth looks drunk on the cover. Yet, I liked his character in the BBC movie. But Matthew McFadyen is in my opinion the hottest rendition (looks wise) of Mr. Darcy. He is now how I imagine Mr. Darcy looking when I re-read P&P.

I guess I am a romantic at heart. But the paradox of my life is that I am also very much a nerd, and I married a nerd. And I now have nerdling children to raise.

Lita in a couple of outfits

I am so enthralled by Narae. Lita is so versatile! I made her a summer dress.

We cherish our sunshine around here.

Also I got her some Teen Trends clothes. Here she is modeling one of the outfits. See how diferent she looks with a change of hair and clothes?!

I think my favorite part of this set is the shoes.

I put tons more pictures on flickr though. Too lazy to put them all over. XD

Custom Blythe- Mohair reroot (maybe 15% done XD)

Weightless in love

Lyrics: "Can't Take it In" Imogen Heap

Can't close my eyes
I'm wide awake

Every hair on my body
Has got a thing for this place

Oh, empty my heart
I've got to make room for this feeling
It's so much bigger than me

It couldn't be anymore beautiful
I can't take it in

Weightless in love...unraveling
For all that's to come

And all that's ever been
We're back to the board

With every shade under the sun
Let's make it a good one

Finally decided to use this journal

This will all be about my doll collecting shenannigans. And it may or may not bore you to tears XD.

I started collecting Blythes about a year or so ago.  Soon after that, I tried out Pullips. After 7 of them, I decided they aren't really my thing. They are easy to buy , and they are cute and all, but I just can't get over the crappy quality of the bodies. I tried obitsu's, and while the poseability is great, and they make Barbie clothes fit nicer.....they are floppy. Arg. So then I tried out BJD's. I only have a Puki and a Narae right now. I love them, but they are so pricey, so I am sure my collection of those will grow really slowly, if at all.

So, I love Blythe most of all, followed by the BJD's I have.

I will soon post my Pullips for sale.  All except Akari. She is full of win despite her floppy body. And, yes I know I can fix the flop, but 1- I am too lazy, 2- it makes me angry that that I should have to "fix" it, after paying all the monies on the doll and the obitsu. >:(

So, I won't post pics until I get my new compy. then I will spam pics of my dolls and the clothes I make them. ^_^ I'm also working on a few projects and I figure blogging about them may (hopefully) keep me on track.

Current projects:
Custom Blythe- Kenner look alike (90% done...lips need to be painted)
Custom Blythe- Mohair reroot (maybe 15% done XD)
Crochet Blythe dress  (50% done)
Crochet Narae dress (I may give up lol)
